ONE of the NFL’s most outspoken stars went viral for an incredible and hilarious slam dunk fail — except it wasn’t him.
Jalen Ramsey is one of the NFL’s best cornerbacks and plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In high school, he was a freak athlete in both football and track and field.
He also won a slam dunk contest in high school before he was drafted with the fifth pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.
All the pieces fit.
But it wasn’t the NFL star.
Instead, it was a Pennsylvanian student, who was a member of the 2017 NCAA division II all-American outdoor high jumper of the same name.
He is also looking to make the bobsled and skeleton camp with the hope of making the US Olympic team.
Either way, it’s comedy gold — especially after you find out he was fine.
The non-NFL Jalen Ramsey was enjoying his new-found fame — or infamy — replying to social media users who were confused as to his identity.
The Jaguars’ Jalen Ramsey also had his say, going to Instagram Stories to clear the air.
Ramsey posted a video of his high-school dunk competition with the caption, “@jalenramsey had bounce since HS! Stop playin wit me.”
“That other lu video is NOT ME. That’s @jalenaramsey.
“Y’all go show @jalenaramsey some luv kus I’m tired of going viral. That’s him … not me. Same name, different person.”
